254 bodies returned to Ukraine

The Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War announced the return of 254 bodies to Ukraine. According to the Russian side, they belong to Ukrainian servicemen. By direction: 221 from the Donetsk direction, 25 from Zaporizhzhia and 4 from Luhansk. Four of the bodies were handed over from morgues in Russian-controlled territory.
The Headquarters thanked the International Committee of the Red Cross for its assistance. Investigators and forensic experts of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will carry out the examinations and identification. The count is of remains returned, not of identified persons; identification continues.
