‼️At the initiative of the public organization “Union of Families of Prisoners of War of the 501st Battalion,” a meeting was held at the Coordination Headquarters with the families of servicemen from the 501st Separate Marine Battalion.
A representative of the Coordination Headquarters spoke with the families of captured and missing marines.
➡️The discussion focused on the process of sentencing captured marines by the aggressor state. Participants sought ways to organize prisoner exchanges and inquired whether the Coordination Headquarters includes fighters who have been given “sentences” by quasi-courts in their exchange requests.
Separate attention was given to the terrible conditions of detention for our military personnel in captivity, the concealment of deaths, and the denial of opportunities to communicate with relatives even through correspondence.
☝️Several questions from attendees concerned the procedure for repatriation measures and the Headquarters’ authority in this process. Relatives of the Defenders also highlighted the lengthy duration of investigative actions, forensic procedures, and DNA examinations.
‼️За ініціативи громадської організації «Спілка сімей військовополонених 501» у Координаційному штабі відбулася зустріч з родинами військовослужбовців 501-го окремого батальйону морської піхоти.
З родинами полонених і зниклих безвісти морських піхотинців спілкувався представник Координаційного штабу.
➡️Розмова тривала довкола процесу засудження полонених морських піхотинців на території держави-агресорки. Учасники зустрічі шукали шляхи організації обмінів та дізнавалися чи подає Коордштаб у запитах на обміни бійців, яким оголошено “вироки” квазісудів.
Окремо йшлося про жахливі умови утримання наших військових у полоні, приховування смертності, відмову в можливості спілкуватися з рідними навіть через листування.
☝️Низка питань присутніх стосувалася алгоритму репатріаційних заходів та повноважень Штабу у цьому процесі. Також родичі Захисників звернули увагу на довготривалості перебігу слідчих дій, судово-медичних заходів та проведення ДНК-експертиз.
